What we do
Hitting a pothole or a kerb can knock your wheels out of alignment. Even a small error makes tyres wear on one edge, pulls the car to one side and leaves the steering wheel off centre.
We measure the alignment and adjust it back to the manufacturer's settings, and balance the wheels so the car runs smoothly at speed.

Alignment check
Front and rear angles measured against the manufacturer's figures.
Adjustment
Tracking adjusted back to specification.
Wheel balancing
Wheels balanced to stop vibration through the steering wheel.
Steering wheel centred
So the wheel is straight when the car is.
Wheel checks
Wheels checked for buckles and damage after a pothole or kerb.
Cause found
Worn joints or bushes that stop alignment holding are spotted.
Signs to look out for
- The car pulls left or right on a straight road
- The steering wheel is off centre
- Tyres wearing on the inside or outside edge
- You have recently hit a pothole or kerb
- Vibration through the steering wheel at speed

Questions we get asked
How often should I have my alignment checked?
Whenever you fit new tyres, after hitting a kerb or pothole, or if you notice pulling or uneven wear.
Can bad alignment damage my tyres?
Yes. It is one of the most common causes of tyres wearing out early on one edge.
Is tracking the same as wheel alignment?
Tracking usually refers to the front toe setting, which is part of a full alignment.
How long does an alignment take?
Usually under an hour, unless worn parts need replacing first.
