What we do
Worn suspension affects how your car handles, brakes and wears its tyres. Kent's roads are hard on springs and bushes, and most MOT suspension failures are cheaper to fix than you might expect.
We inspect the whole system on the lift, explain what is worn and replace it with quality parts.

Shock absorbers
Worn dampers replaced in pairs for even handling.
Springs
Broken or sagging coil springs replaced.
Joints and bushes
Ball joints, drop links and bushes renewed.
MOT failures
Suspension advisories and failures put right.
Signs to look out for
- Knocking or clunking over bumps
- Excessive bouncing or body roll
- The car sits lower on one corner
- Uneven tyre wear

Questions we get asked
What causes a knocking noise over bumps?
Commonly worn drop links, bushes, ball joints or a broken spring. We find the cause on the lift.
Should shock absorbers be replaced in pairs?
Yes. Replacing both on the same axle keeps the handling balanced.
Can a broken spring fail the MOT?
Yes. A broken coil spring is an MOT failure and can damage the tyre, so it should be replaced promptly.
Do I need an alignment after suspension work?
Sometimes, depending on the parts replaced. We will advise when it is needed.
