Exhaust repairs
Blowing exhausts, silencers, catalytic converters and DPF faults repaired.
- Silencers and pipes
- Catalytic converters
- DPF faults
What we do
A noisy or blowing exhaust is more than an annoyance: it can let fumes into the cabin and cause an MOT failure. We replace damaged sections, mounts and gaskets with quality parts.
Emissions faults often involve sensors and wiring, from oxygen sensors to DPF pressure sensors, which is where our electrical experience helps.

Silencers and pipes
Blowing or rusted sections replaced.
Catalytic converters
Failed converters diagnosed and replaced.
DPF faults
Diesel particulate filter warnings diagnosed, including sensor faults.
Emissions sensors
Oxygen and NOx sensors tested and replaced.
Signs to look out for

Questions we get asked
Is a blowing exhaust dangerous?
It can be. A leak before the rear of the car can let exhaust fumes into the cabin. Get it checked as soon as possible.
My DPF light is on. What should I do?
A longer drive at steady speed sometimes clears it. If it stays on, bring the car in and we will diagnose the cause, which can be a sensor fault.
Will an exhaust fault fail the MOT?
Leaks, excessive noise and high emissions can all cause a fail.
Can you replace just the back box?
Usually, yes. We only replace the sections that need it.
