Who we are

This website is run by Curd Brothers, Unit 28, Colebrook Industrial Estate, Longfield Road, Tunbridge Wells, Kent TN2 3DG. We are responsible for the personal information you give us. You can contact us on 01892 542680 or traceycurdbrothers.co.uk.

What we collect

• Your name, phone number and email address when you call, message or email us.
• Details of your vehicle, such as its registration, make, model and mileage.
• Notes about the work you ask for and the work we carry out.
• Payment records for work we invoice.

This website has no forms and no accounts. We only receive information you choose to send us.

How we use it

• To reply to you, book your vehicle in and carry out the work you ask for.
• To contact you about your vehicle, for example to agree a price or tell you it is ready.
• To keep the records we need for warranty, accounting and legal reasons.

We rely on taking steps to provide a service you have asked for, and on our legal obligations to keep business records. We never sell your information, and we do not use it for marketing unless you have asked us to.

Calls and messages

Calls to Curd Brothers may be recorded for quality assurance and training. If you message us on WhatsApp, the message is also handled by WhatsApp under its own privacy policy.

Who we share it with

Only with those who need it to do the job: for example a parts supplier, or a manufacturer when a part is returned under warranty. Our website is hosted by Vercel, and the map on the site is provided by Google if you accept cookies. We will share information with the authorities if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep customer and vehicle records for as long as we need them for warranty, accounting and legal purposes, usually up to six years after the work, and then delete them.

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Contact us on traceycurdbrothers.co.uk or 01892 542680. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
